Organic Gardening - Weed Control
Some interesting ideas to battle weeds and reduce your workload. The newspaper and mulch would aide soil moisture during the dry times such as we are experiencing at the moment.
I LOVE the newspaper idea. It's basically the same idea as no dig garden beds and the fact that it returns the weeds to the soil and adds extra with both the newspaper and mulch greatly appeals. The paper would also hold a bit of water too which would also help the plants. Thanks for sharing this.
The method employed on the veggie patch paths in this video is what I will employ in the coming months. I never got to getting saw dust down before the spring weeds spiralled up. The use of weed mat with mulch/saw dust on top should help make my paths much less maintenance. And adding the newspaper and mulch when things warm up and dry out looks fantastic.
My aim is to get the whole patch set up for this by next spring.

This is probably one of the best lawn treatments. I followed this way back and it really helped a lot.
